Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, has received his first call-up to Portugal’s Under-15 national team.
The 14-year-old has been selected to represent his country at the 7th edition of the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament, set to take place in Croatia from May 13 to May 18.
Currently captaining the Al-Nassr youth team, Ronaldo Jr — also known as “Cristianinho” — has previously played in the youth setups at both Juventus and Manchester United, following in the footsteps of his iconic father.
He is one of 22 players selected by U-15 manager João Santos for the tournament. Portugal is scheduled to face England on May 16, followed by matches against Japan and Greece.
The tournament is named in honor of Vlatko Markovic, a former Croatian footballer and manager who served as president of the Croatian Football Federation from 1998 to 2012.
