England winger Noni Madueke has named Ola Aina as the toughest defender he has faced in his career.
The two have clashed multiple times in the Premier League, engaging in intense duels along the flanks. Aina, who started his professional career at Chelsea F.C., has emerged as one of England’s top full-backs and has been a key player for Nottingham Forest F.C. since joining in 2023.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Madueke lauded the Nigerian international for his strength and consistency. “I’ve played against him a couple of times, and he’s always tough,” Madueke said. “He’s incredibly strong and very physical, but he’s also comfortable on the ball. I don’t think people always give him enough credit for that.”
