Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has been hospitalised with internal bleeding after a violent on-set incident involving fellow actor Zubby Micheal, which he claims was not part of the scripted scene.
In an emotional Instagram post, Nnadiekwe detailed how he was unexpectedly kicked in the chest during filming, causing serious pain and forcing him to seek medical help without support from the production team.
A viral behind-the-scenes video confirms the altercation, showing Zubby Micheal charging at and kicking Nnadiekwe during a scene.
The actor’s management later confirmed his condition had worsened and that he is receiving treatment in the hospital.
Nnadiekwe is calling on the industry to prioritize safety protocols, stressing that many productions lack insurance or medical support.
“What if something more serious had happened?” he asked, urging accountability and responsibility on set.
