Singer, actor, and politician Banky W is celebrating a major achievement — he has earned a Master’s degree in Policy Management from Georgetown University, one of the world’s leading institutions for public policy.
Banky shared the news on Instagram, offering a heartfelt reflection on his journey over the past few years. While studying full-time, he also served as a Fellow on Capitol Hill and welcomed his second child, Hezekiah Oluwadarasimi Wellington, with wife Adesua Etomi-Wellington — all while raising two young children in the U.S.
In his caption, he opened up about the emotional and spiritual strength required to complete the rigorous program. “You can’t pour from an empty cup,” he wrote, explaining that stepping away from the public eye helped him reconnect with purpose and build resilience.
He closed his message with a powerful reminder: “It’s never too late to dream a new dream or redefine the ending of an existing one.”
Adding a touch of humor, Banky joked about the possibility of pursuing a PhD in the future, noting that his wife hopes his “next wife” will support that idea. “But first,” he added, “let me make some money.”
