Former senator and media entrepreneur Ben Murray-Bruce has suggested that Afrobeats superstar Davido may have a future in politics — possibly as a future Governor of Osun State.
In a recent video message, Murray-Bruce highlighted Davido’s deep political roots. His uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, currently governs Osun, while another uncle, the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, once held the same office during the Babangida administration.
Murray-Bruce described Davido as a “political animal” with well-defined ideological views that many fans may not see publicly. He believes Davido’s fame, influence, and family legacy could pave the way for a successful political career if nurtured properly.
“Given the Adeleke family’s political DNA, Davido aspiring to govern Osun State doesn’t seem far-fetched — it looks like a natural path,” he said.
He also emphasized the growing public interest in entertainers joining politics, noting their ability to unite people across age and social divides.
“Davido, if you run, I predict you will win,” Murray-Bruce declared.
