Carter Efe Loses Instagram, Tiktok Accounts After Calling Out Wizkid

Popular Nigerian skit maker, Carter Efe, has lost access to his Instagram and TikTok accounts just days after making controversial remarks about Afrobeat star Wizkid during a TikTok live session.

During the livestream on Tuesday, Carter Efe criticized the singer, calling him proud and referring to him as an “idiot.”

“If Wizkid calls me my G, that means lion don get belle. E no fit happen. That boy too get pride, idiot,” he said.

Following the outburst, Wizkid’s fan base—known as Wizkid FC—reportedly launched a mass reporting campaign against his social media pages. They allegedly targeted his TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube accounts in retaliation.

By Wednesday evening, Carter Efe confirmed via posts on X (formerly Twitter) that his Instagram account with 1.8 million followers had been taken down.

“FC una collect my Instagram account of 1.8 million followers,” he wrote.

Shortly after, he posted an apology video, revealing that his TikTok account had also been removed.

“This is getting too much, TikTok account gone, FC una betrayed me. Abeg make una forgive me Wizkid FC. Wizkid abeg no vexxx help me beg FC abeggggg I’m in severe pain,” he pleaded.
