Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the eldest son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, made his international debut for Portugal’s U-15 team on Tuesday, May 13, during a 4-1 victory over Japan.
The 14-year-old forward, who currently plays for Al Nassr’s youth academy, entered the match in the 54th minute with Portugal already leading 3-0—thanks to a first-half hat trick by Braga’s Rafael Cabral.
Proud father Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to celebrate the milestone, writing: “Congratulations on your Portugal debut, son. Very proud of you.”
The match marked Portugal’s first outing in the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament, currently underway in Croatia. The team is set to face Greece on Wednesday and England on Friday, with a final match scheduled for Sunday against an opponent yet to be determined.
