David Abioye Draws Massive Crowd At Inaugural Service Of New Ministry

David Abioye, the former Vice President and retired pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has officially launched his new ministry, Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly. The inauguration took place during the ministry’s first Sunday service on May 4, 2025, drawing a large and enthusiastic congregation.

In a message shared during the service, Abioye explained that the new ministry was born out of divine direction, not personal ambition or external pressure. He emphasized that the vision had been ordained “from the foundation of the Word” and was now being revealed in its appointed time.

This assembly was not established in response to people’s demands but in obedience to God’s eternal purpose,” he said. “It is a divine assignment dedicated to the spiritual growth, edification, and triumph of the saints around the world.

Abioye also clarified his role, stating that he is not attempting to fulfill the Great Commission alone but is called to play a part in a larger divine plan.

Concluding the service, he formally declared the ministry open:

To the glory of God, this assembly — Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly — is hereby inaugurated. In the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, this work shall stand for the triumph of the saints globally. I welcome you to a life of continuous conquest. You shall be named more than conquerors.

This new chapter comes months after Abioye and fellow senior pastor Thomas Aremu retired from Living Faith Church in October 2024, following an administrative policy change that introduced a mandatory retirement age. Abioye retired at 63 after over 40 years in ministry.
