FAAN’s Director Inducted Into Nigerian Institute of Public Relations

Mrs. Obiageli Orah, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has been inducted into the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

A statement by the communications department of FAAN said that the induction ceremony was part of the Nigerian Public Relations Week (NPRW), held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State over the weekend.

The statement hinted that the event convened leading professionals, industry experts, and government officials from across the country.

The occasion marked the official admission of new members into the institute, which is renowned for championing excellence, professionalism, and ethical conduct in the practice of public relations in Nigeria.

The statement added: “Orah’s induction is a reflection of her outstanding achievements in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and consumer advocacy.

“In her role at FAAN, she has been instrumental in fostering public trust, enhancing customer experiences, and promoting transparent communication between the Authority and the Nigerian public.”

Speaking after the ceremony, Orah expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honour and reiterated her dedication to ethical and impactful public relations.

She expressed that the recognition not only underscored her commitment to continuous professional development, but also fueled her resolve to advance effective public communication and meaningful consumer engagement at FAAN and beyond.

Also, she commended NIPR’s vital role in promoting national unity.

She highlighted the Institute’s contributions to peace-building and its continued support for Nigeria during pivotal times.
