Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has penned a heartfelt message to his mother in honor of International Men’s Day. He appreciated his mother for moulding him into an excellent man, stating that she is responsible for the man everyone sees today, and thanked his Maker for blessing him with such a mother.
Leonard expressed gratitude for the love and support she has given him throughout the years as he continues his journey as a filmmaker. Advising men, he encouraged them to know God, stay in good health, ensure they are financially secure, and live life fully.
He wrote:
“Today is International Men’s Day, and I want to take this time again, like I’ve always done, to say thank you to my mother. The woman who brought me into the world moulded such an excellent man. My mother is responsible for the man that you all see today. And I am thankful to have been gifted by God with a mother like my mother. Thank you so much for the love and the support you have all shown me through the years as I carry on on this creative path as a Filmmaker.
My advice to men: know God. Stay in shape and good health. Make sure you’re not broke. Don’t die.
