Nigeria’s longest-running comedy tour, LaffMattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka & Friends, has officially unveiled plans for its 2026 edition, themed “Next Chapter,” marking a major milestone in the brand’s history.
The forthcoming tour represents a significant leap forward as LaffMattazz celebrates its 15th edition with an ambitious expansion beyond Nigeria to Canada for the first time. The move signals the tour’s growing global footprint and its emergence as a viable Nigerian entertainment export.
Organisers describe the Next Chapter edition as a defining evolution of the brand. While previous outings focused on delivering premium comedy experiences across Nigerian cities, the 2026 tour raises the bar with international exposure, enhanced production values, and deeper engagement with audiences both at home and in the diaspora.
According to the organisers, the 15th edition is not merely a celebration of longevity but a bold statement of intent—positioning LaffMattazz as a global platform for African comedy, culture, and creative excellence.
