Former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, has been appointed as an Advisor to Club de Madrid, a prestigious international forum comprised of democratic former Presidents and Prime Ministers.
The announcement was made via the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Club de Madrid on Tuesday. The post read:

Ezekwesili also confirmed the appointment on her official X account, expressing gratitude to the Spanish-based organization for the opportunity to contribute.
“I accepted the invitation to become an advisor to @ClubdeMadrid – the world’s largest forum of democratic former Presidents and Prime Ministers, who leverage their individual and collective leadership experience and global reach to strengthen inclusive democratic practice and improve the well-being of people around the world,” she stated.
Highlighting the importance of global cooperation, Ezekwesili noted that the increasing complexity of global challenges demands experienced leadership.
