Actor Daniel Stern, famous for his role as Marv in the hit movie Home Alone, has been criminally charged following an arrest in California last month.
According to court records cited by the Daily Mail, the 68-year-old was charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly soliciting prostitution. He is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday, with his lawyer set to appear in court on his behalf.
Stern was reportedly cited by police after an incident at a hotel in Camarillo, California. He was not taken into custody, booked, or photographed, but was instead issued a citation at the scene.
The charge comes just months after the actor was hospitalised in October after suffering a medical emergency at his home. He was later released and confirmed that he had fully recovered and was in good health.
In recent years, Stern has largely stepped away from Hollywood and now lives on a farm, where he grows tangerines and leads a quieter life away from the spotlight.
