A South African woman has stirred heated debate on social media after declaring that no Nigerian man can date her unless he pays her ₦40 million monthly.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Nedu, the young woman said she earns the same amount working in a club in Nigeria and therefore sees no reason to settle for less from a man simply because he wants to be her boyfriend. According to her, maintaining herself is expensive, stressing that “it is very costly being a girl.”
During the podcast, she also revealed that she feels safer using Uber services in Nigeria than in her home country, South Africa.
A video clip of her comments has since gone viral online.
