
On June 13, police operatives from the 33 Police Station arrested one Mr. Divine Ifeanyi Nnalue in Ugbeji-Okpanam, near Asaba, Delta State. The suspect, a domestic worker, allegedly stole a black Toyota Camry (registration number: ENU 289 JF) from his employer’s residence on Trinity Avenue, Federal Housing, 33.
During interrogation, Nnalue reportedly confessed to selling the vehicle to an unidentified buyer.
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said efforts are underway to recover the vehicle and apprehend other individuals linked to the crime. He noted that the arrest underscores the Command’s dedication to upholding the law and protecting citizens’ property, as well as its effectiveness in pursuing those who abuse positions of trust.
