Raúl Jiménez Sets Premier League Record With Perfect 12/12 Penalty Streak

Fulham forward Raúl Jiménez made Premier League history on Sunday, calmly converting a penalty at Old Trafford to cement his status as the league’s most flawless spot-kick taker.

The goal marked Jiménez’s 12th successful penalty from 12 attempts, surpassing Manchester City legend Yaya Touré, who converted 11 out of 11. With that, Jiménez now holds the record for the only player in Premier League history to score all 12 penalties he has taken.

The milestone came during Fulham’s dramatic 3–2 loss to Manchester United, but the result was secondary to the moment. In front of one of English football’s most demanding crowds, Jiménez displayed unshakable composure—cool, confident, and clinically efficient.

Touré now drops to second on the all-time list, while Dimitar Berbatov rounds out the elite group of perfect penalty-takers with nine from nine. Yet it’s Jiménez’s combination of consistency and volume that truly sets him apart.

Penalty-taking has long been football’s harshest test. Legends have faltered by a single kick—Chelsea’s Cole Palmer ended his streak at 12 last season, Bryan Mbeumo at 10, and even Southampton icon Matthew Le Tissier missed once in 26 attempts.

Jiménez, however, remains untouchable. In an era of stuttered run-ups and psychological games, his approach is simple: step up, choose a spot, and score. Twelve times, the outcome has been the same—perfection.
