Rejected Abroad? It’s Time To Come Home – Yul Edochie Urges Igbos To Invest In The South East

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has called on the Igbo people to return to their roots and invest in the South East. According to him, facing rejection abroad shouldn’t be seen as a reason to fight back, but rather as a sign that it’s time to return home.

He expressed concern that Igbos have spent too much time away from their homeland and stressed the importance of rebuilding and developing Igbo land.

In his words:

Ndi Igbo, it’s time to come back home and invest in our land. If you’re experiencing rejection in foreign lands, don’t see it as a call to fight — see it as a message to return. We have wandered for too long. Home is calling. Our ancestors and the spirits of Igbo land are urging us to come back and build. A new dawn is rising in Igbo land. The time to return is now. ‘Ana amalu mma si na uno wee puo ilo’ — true beauty begins at home.
