Nigerian track star Tobi Amusan stormed to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Rabat Diamond League on Sunday, setting a new meet record with an impressive time of 12.45 seconds.
The 28-year-old not only claimed the top spot but also registered a season-best of 12.24 seconds, breaking the previous meet record of 12.51 seconds held by American hurdler Brianna McNeal.
Trailing Amusan was the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser, who finished second with a season-best 12.67 seconds, while Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska secured third place in 12.69 seconds, also her best time this season.

Amusan’s triumph in Rabat marks her first major win of the 2025 season, following back-to-back fourth-place finishes in the Xiamen and Shanghai Diamond League meets earlier in May.
