A Florida federal judge has ordered rapper Tory Lanez to cover Megan Thee Stallion’s legal fees after his disruptive behavior during an April 9 deposition in her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz.
Lanez, who appeared via Zoom from prison, reportedly mocked Megan’s attorney, interrupted questioning, and refused to answer basic questions. His conduct prompted the judge to impose sanctions and require him to pay attorney fees tied to the session.
Court documents reveal that Lanez missed an April 30 deadline to justify his behavior, leading to further penalties. The court also ruled that a magistrate judge will now oversee all future depositions to ensure order is maintained. Megan’s legal team is also requesting a special master—at Lanez’s expense—to supervise upcoming testimonies.
The deposition was part of Megan Thee Stallion’s defamation case against Milagro Gramz, who is accused of spreading harmful and false claims about the rapper’s mental health, drug use, and private life—allegedly with help from Lanez and his father.
In a related development, Gramz was previously fined $5,000 for delaying access to her social media accounts during a court-ordered forensic review.
This legal setback adds to Lanez’s mounting troubles, which began after his conviction in the 2020 shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion.
