Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening, July 20, 2025, while traveling from Daura to Katsina along the Daura–Katsina highway.
The incident was confirmed in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, who assured the public that the governor is in stable condition and sustained no serious injuries.
“The Governor was involved in a minor road accident while performing his official duties,” the statement read. “He is in good health and currently undergoing routine medical evaluation as a precaution.”
Mohammed added that Governor Radda remains in high spirits and has expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for protection, as well as to citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.
