
A deadly bomb explosion has claimed the lives of four travellers and injured several others along the Damboa-Maiduguri road in Borno State.
According to local media reports, the explosion occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and involved a vehicle transporting an unspecified number of passengers. The blast marks yet another tragic incident on the Damboa-Maiduguri highway—a route frequently targeted by terrorists who plant explosives to deter road users.
This latest attack comes just weeks after a similar bombing along the same route killed seven people.
