Prophet Bomadi Serimoedumu, General Overseer of Mount Zion Divine Gospel Ministry Inc., has prophesied that former President Goodluck Jonathan could return to power in 2027 if he contests the presidential election.
Speaking during a Sunday service at the church’s headquarters in Bomadi, Delta State, the cleric—popularly known as the Field Marshall of the Prophetic—said he saw a vision of Jonathan raising the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag high in victory, promising four years of prosperity and national jubilation.
“I see President Goodluck Jonathan in Aso Rock again. If he chooses to run in 2027, he will win, and Nigeria will rejoice,” he declared.
Prophet Serimoedumu also recounted a spiritual encounter during the 2023 elections, claiming President Bola Tinubu sought his support and promised to serve only one term—a pledge the cleric said appeared to displease Vice President Kashim Shettima in the vision.
The prophecy has stirred renewed speculation over Jonathan’s political future, a decade after his presidency ended in 2015.
