Falana Questions Efcc Over Vdm’s Arrest Despite Legal Dispute

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has reportedly challenged the arrest and detention of social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), despite being in a legal battle with him.

VDM’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, who had earlier criticized Falana for staying silent on the matter, revealed on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday that he has now confirmed Falana made calls to the EFCC questioning VDM’s arrest.

This development comes amid an ongoing court case between Falana and VDM, sparked by VDM’s comments while analyzing a viral voice note that allegedly claimed Falana and his son, rapper Falz, had communicated with Bobrisky during his time in custody.
