Fubara: Concrete Steps Underway To Stabilize Governance And Boost Economy In Rivers

                               

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has reiterated his administration’s dedication to stabilizing governance and revitalizing the state’s economy, despite ongoing political tensions and economic difficulties.

In a message marking the Eid-al-Adha celebration, conveyed through his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Governor Fubara urged Muslims in Rivers State and beyond to reflect on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and faith.

The governor acknowledged the hardships faced by the people of Rivers and recognized that many aspirations remain unfulfilled due to the prevailing political unrest. However, he emphasized that significant progress is underway.

“He assured citizens that concrete steps are being taken to restore stability in governance and boost the economy, promising that their concerns will be met with practical solutions,” the statement said. “He also called for continued prayers for peace and development in Rivers State, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and welfare of all residents.”

Governor Fubara concluded by wishing the Muslim community a joyful and spiritually fulfilling Eid celebration.
