The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Out of the 1,955,069 candidates who sat for the exam, over 1.5 million scored below 200. According to statistics published by JAMB on Monday, only 420,415 candidates — roughly 25% — scored above 200. Fewer than 1% of candidates scored above 300.
JAMB also disclosed that 40,247 underage candidates were allowed to participate in the exam to showcase exceptional abilities. However, only 467 (1.16%) met the required performance threshold, with their results still undergoing further evaluation across three additional assessment stages.
The 2025 UTME began on Thursday, April 24.
How to Check Your 2025 UTME Results
Via JAMB Website:
- Visit the JAMB eFacility Portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login
- Log in using your email and password from registration.
- Click on “Check UTME Results” to view your scores for each subject.
Via SMS:
- Open your messaging app.
- Type RESULT followed by your JAMB Registration Number.
- Send the message to 55019 or 66019.
- You’ll receive your scores via SMS.
Note: This service costs ₦50, deducted from your phone credit.
