JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mock Results, Cautions Candidates Against Exam Fraud And Score Manipulation

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock, conducted on March 28, 2026.

Candidates can check their results by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the board disclosed that 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, out of which 152,586 successfully sat for the test across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

The board also revealed that more than 20 CBT centres were delisted due to technical issues. “Over 20 CBT centres that experienced technical challenges have been delisted due to technical inadequacies,” the statement said.

JAMB further warned candidates to beware of fraudsters, particularly on WhatsApp, who claim they can manipulate examination scores. It described such claims as false and criminal, adding that any candidate found engaging in such activities risks having their registration cancelled. Results may also be withheld or withdrawn if such infractions are discovered after the examination.

The board reminded candidates that the main UTME is scheduled to commence on April 16, 2026.

JAMB had earlier acknowledged that technical glitches disrupted the mock exercise, with thousands of candidates affected by server failures, power outages, and delayed start times at several CBT centres, leaving many stranded for hours.
