Kamala Harris is set to publish a new book this September, titled 107 Days, offering a behind-the-scenes account of her historic and brief 2024 presidential campaign — the shortest in modern U.S. history.
“What the world saw on the campaign trail was only part of the story,” Harris shared in a social media post announcing the book. In an accompanying video, she added, “I believe there is value in sharing what I saw, what I learned, and what I know it will take to move forward. One truth kept coming back to me: sometimes the fight takes a while.”
Since her loss to President Donald Trump, Harris has largely stayed out of the public eye, remaining in close contact with advisors as she weighs her political future.
The book’s announcement came just a day after Harris confirmed she would not be running for governor of California in 2026 — a move that insiders say leaves the door open for a potential presidential bid in 2028.
