Mel B Ties the Knot for the Third Time in Glamorous St Paul’s Cathedral Wedding

Spice Girls icon Mel B has officially said “I do” for the third time, marrying longtime partner Rory McPhee in a lavish ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 5.

The 50-year-old pop legend, whose real name is Melanie Brown, stunned in a striking white gown adorned with pearls and sheer sleeves, completing the look with a flowing veil over an elegant updo styled by the groom himself — her now-husband and celebrity hairstylist, 37-year-old McPhee.

The couple’s relationship blossomed in 2018 after years of friendship, and they became engaged in 2022. Despite previously declaring she was done with marriage, Mel B embraced love again, encouraged by her close connection to McPhee — introduced to her by her cousin, actor Christian Cooke, who is a friend of McPhee’s.

Among the guests were a host of celebrity friends, including Mel’s fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who arrived at the cathedral with husband Jade Jones and their son Beau, 17.

This marks Mel B’s third marriage. She was previously wed to Jimmy Gulzar (1998–2000) and Stephen Belafonte(2007–2018). Her relationship with Belafonte ended amid abuse allegations, which he has denied. She also shares a daughter with comedian and actor Eddie Murphy.

The wedding brought a touch of 90s pop nostalgia to one of London’s most iconic landmarks, proving once again that love — and Spice — never goes out of style.
