Napoli have turned down transfer offers from both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce for Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, as interest in the prolific striker continues to grow ahead of the summer transfer window.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, played a pivotal role in the club’s successful campaign—helping them secure both the Turkish Cup and the Süper Lig title with his decisive goalscoring performances.
According to Turkish outlet Halk TV, Osimhen’s impressive form has prompted Napoli to raise their valuation of the 25-year-old forward. The Italian club reportedly rejected Galatasaray’s €60 million bid for a permanent transfer.
Fenerbahce also made a formal approach but were similarly rebuffed. Turkish broadcaster Barış Yurduseven of TRT reported that Napoli maintained a firm “no bargaining” policy, even in response to a structured offer from Fenerbahce that would have seen the fee paid in four installments.
“Apart from the Turkish clubs, the only teams currently in discussions are some Saudi sides and Manchester United,” Yurduseven added. “However, even they are showing caution due to the significant financial investment involved.”
