President Bola Tinubu on Sunday welcomed several prominent figures to his Lagos residence, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
According to a statement by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the president also received the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Gbadebo, along with members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the top decision-making body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
The gathering was marked by prayers, cordial conversations, and expressions of unity among Nigeria’s traditional rulers and political leaders. The occasion reflected President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to engage key stakeholders during the festive season.
