Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is on the verge of signing with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, marking a significant step in her career. The 24-year-old winger departs Spanish side Atlético Madrid following the expiration of her contract in June.
Ajibade, known for her speed, creativity, and leadership, will become the second Nigerian at PSG, joining midfielder Jennifer Echegini, who has already made her mark with the club.
Despite strong interest from MLS clubs, PSG have secured Ajibade’s signature, adding firepower to their attack ahead of the new season.
Ajibade recently led Nigeria to a historic 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco, earning the Best Player award for her standout performances.
