Read President Buhari’s Eid-El-Kabir Message To Nigerians

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the nation’s most difficult economic phase is now behind it, urging continued patience and unity as his administration’s reforms begin to show results.

In his 2025 Eid-el-Kabir message, Tinubu congratulated Nigerian Muslims and the global Muslim community, reflecting on the spiritual significance of the festival and calling on citizens to embrace the values of sacrifice, resilience, and compassion.

“Eid-el-Kabir represents a period of deep spiritual meaning — a time for gratitude, devotion, and selflessness,” Tinubu said. “We must mirror the submission of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and embody the virtues of love, compassion, and tolerance.”

While acknowledging the hardship faced by many Nigerians, the president reaffirmed his commitment to transformative economic reforms. “The journey has not been easy, and some doubted our direction,” he admitted. “But the resilience of Nigerians and key stakeholders is yielding positive results. The toughest days are behind us.”

He urged citizens not to lose hope, adding that key economic indicators are improving and the benefits of reform will soon be felt across the country. “Our ultimate goal is not just statistical improvement but meaningful transformation in the lives of our people,” he stated.

Tinubu also referenced the recent devastating floods in Mokwa, Niger State, offering prayers for the victims and pledging government support for relief efforts.

The president concluded by calling for collective prayer, national unity, and greater compassion: “Let those who have more remember those in need. May our shared humanity guide us to a brighter, more prosperous future. May Almighty Allah accept our devotion and bless our nation.”

The message reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and called on Nigerians to remain steadfast as the country pushes forward toward sustainable development.
