Real Madrid Open to Selling Alaba, Mendy, and Rodrygo This Summer

Real Madrid are reportedly willing to part ways with David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Rodrygo in the current summer transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Diario AS.

The move is part of the club’s broader strategy to reshape the squad ahead of the new season. However, offloading the trio may prove challenging. In Alaba’s case, Madrid reportedly offered to terminate his contract with partial compensation, but the Austrian defender rejected the proposal, opting to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The three players were notably absent from Real Madrid’s recent Club World Cup semi-final loss to Paris Saint-Germain, raising questions about their roles under new manager Xabi Alonso.

With the 2025/26 season fast approaching, the futures of Alaba, Mendy, and Rodrygo remain uncertain, especially as their chances of regular playing time appear increasingly limited.
