
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on his 50th birthday.
In a statement released on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Ogbuku’s contributions to national development, particularly in the Niger Delta region.
Ogbuku, a former executive of the Ijaw Youth Council, has held key roles in government, including Chief of Staff to former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva and Senior Special Assistant to former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
President Tinubu commended the NDDC’s progress under Ogbuku’s leadership in infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and environmental remediation.
He also offered prayers for Ogbuku’s continued good health, wisdom, and many more years of dedicated service, wishing him a joyous and memorable birthday celebration.
