Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has shared photos of himself with Victor Osimhen and Bruno Onyemaechi on the pitch following Nigeria’s victory over Mozambique in the round of 16 at the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
Lookman posted the images on his official Instagram page on Tuesday, accompanied by the caption, “TOGETHER ALWAYS.”
The post comes amid criticism from fans over Osimhen’s angry reactions toward Lookman during the match, which sparked speculation about a possible rift between the two players.
However, Lookman dismissed any suggestion of tension, insisting that his relationship with Osimhen remains strong.
“It’s just football. It’s always football. He is my brother,” Lookman said in an interview after the game on Monday.
Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi also downplayed reports of a fallout, explaining that the incident was simply a reflection of the team’s shared competitive spirit.
