Music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly spent between $7 million and $8 million on legal fees while defending himself in his nearly two-year federal criminal case in the United States.
According to reports citing sources familiar with the matter, the legal costs covered a team of trial and appellate lawyers, including Marc Agnifilo, Teny Geragos, Brian Steel, and Nicole Westmoreland, who represented Combs from the time of his arrest in September 2024.
Combs faced federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Following an eight-week trial in 2025, the jury acquitted him of the racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges but found him guilty on two counts of violating the Mann Act for transporting individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution.
In October 2025, a federal judge sentenced the music mogul to 50 months in prison. He is currently serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
Recent reports also claim Combs was briefly placed in solitary confinement following an alleged altercation with another inmate. Sources said the dispute escalated into a physical confrontation before prison staff intervened.
Neither prison officials nor Combs’ legal representatives have publicly commented on the reported incident.
