The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) from N850 to N820 per litre, effective August 12, 2025.
This was revealed in a statement on Tuesday by Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of the Dangote Group.
“As part of our commitment to national development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery is reducing the ex-depot price of petrol by N30. We remain dedicated to ensuring a steady and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products,” the statement read.
In addition, the refinery will begin the phased rollout of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide starting August 15, 2025, as part of its push for sustainable energy and operational efficiency.
