Ushie Rita Uguamaye, popularly known as Raye, who previously went viral for criticizing Nigeria’s economy and corps member pay, is back in the spotlight—this time for praising Abuja.
In a post on X, she wrote: “Abuja has my heart. I could stare at the mountains forever. Love this city.”
However, some users saw her comment as a slight against Lagos, especially given her past viral remark claiming “Lagos smells.” One user responded, “Well sha no come Lagos again.”
Raye fired back, noting: “All the Bolt drivers that have taken me around so far in Abuja are Yoruba people. The way you guys behave with this your Lagos, someone would believe there’s no Yoruba living in another state.”
