Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly received a staggering contract offer from Saudi Arabia, as he edges closer to a permanent move away from the Serie A club he helped lead to a historic title two years ago.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have submitted an improved offer worth approximately £34 million per year—amounting to nearly £140 million over four years. The deal, if accepted, would make the Nigerian international one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.
Osimhen, 26, spent the last season on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray and is currently weighing multiple offers. Despite previously rejecting overtures from Al Hilal, the new proposal may prompt a change of heart.
The Super Eagles forward has a release clause of around £64 million in his current Napoli contract.
